Welcome to our website! We’re so glad you’re here to learn more about us and our adoption journey. We’re Chris and Brianna, and we created this space to share our story, how we met, and why we’re excited to grow our family through adoption. Take a look around and get to know us more! Our Story
We got married in June of 2016 (Almost 9 years now!) and have been building a life full of love, laughter, and adventure ever since. We’re big fans of traveling to Disneyworld, and we love spending time together—whether we're playing video games, watching movies, or going for walks in our local park during the summer. Family is important to us, and we enjoy visiting with them whenever we can. Chris has a passion for fishing, while Brianna enjoys jumping into different hobbies like reading, cross-stitching, crochet, gardening, and swimming in our pool. We’re excited to share this journey with you!
Why Adoption?
About four or five years into our marriage, we felt ready to grow our family and began trying for a baby. However, after several years of effort—working with various doctors, meeting specialists, undergoing consultations, taking medications, and even having surgery—our hopes remained unfulfilled. Despite everything we tried, it seemed like the odds were against us. The emotional and physical toll became overwhelming, affecting our health and happiness.
After taking a step back to reflect, we decided to explore private adoption. This path felt like a promising way to expand our family and share the immense love we had to give.
Our Family
Family is everything to us, and we feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such a loving and supportive group of people. Whether it’s holiday gatherings, birthday celebrations, or casual get-togethers “just because,” our families are always at the heart of our lives.
Most of our family lives nearby, while others are spread across different states, giving us the best of both worlds—cherished times at home and exciting adventures traveling to visit loved ones. No matter the distance, we remain close with our family. Our future child will be welcomed with open arms into a family full of love, encouragement, and endless hugs, with fun-loving grandparents, aunts and uncles, and sweet cousins eagerly awaiting a new playmate.
We can’t wait to share our family’s warmth, traditions, and special moments with a little one, creating memories to last a lifetime. 💕
Our Home
Both of our families have lived in mid-Michigan our entire lives, and we’ve always called this area home. We went to high school and college right here in Genesee County, and after Chris graduated in 2014, we found the perfect three-bedroom house to start our life together.
Over the years, we’ve put a lot of love into making it truly our own. We pulled up the carpet to restore the beautiful original hardwood floors, redesigned and painted every room, and, our favorite project—added a pool with a deck to create the ultimate backyard retreat! Our home is our happy place, and we can’t wait to share it with a child.
